OY GAY! With smothering pride we invite you to join us on Saturday February 11th at BUTTMITZVAH, the ultimate cumming of age party. MAZEL TOV! 

But this is no ordinary clubnight. BUTTMITZVAH is the UK's first queer Jewish night, combining live music, comedy, drag, catering, and free on-street parking after 6.30pm for a celebratory and smoked salmon flavoured take on the ancient ritual into adulthood. 

Following our wildly successful first party, with features in Vice, Time Out and the Jewniverse (actual name), expectations are sky high for Buttmitzvah: The Second Cumming. It is without exaggeration the most significant event for the Jewish community since Rachel Stevens debut solo 'Sweet Dreams My LA Ex' briefly got to Number 2 in the UK Charts, mid-September 2003. 

But can lightning strike twice? Well in Rachel's case, no. For Buttmitzvah however, the answer is a shlongtastic yes. 

With three floors of queer entertainment including live klezmer band Don Kipper, drag kings & queens, mass chair dancing, a gameshow to pick the Buttmitzvah girl or boy, delicious kiddish catering, spiritual advice from our resident Rabbi, professional matchmaking, speeches from the family, Hava Nagila karaoke, a very naughty bagel dance, comedian Candy Gigi, live performances from Jewish icons including LOU REED, BETTE MIDLER and, of course, RACHEL STEVENS herself, plus much much more to be announced, Buttmitzvah will be the funnest night ever since...the first Buttmitzvah.
